newly appointed Senior Trade and Investment Commissioner for China, Rhett
Miller.
Rhett will provide guests with his
China insights, drawn from his extensive China experience, and outline his
priorities in taking up this important TIQ position to assist Queensland
exporters and bring investment into Queensland.
China is Queensland’s largest
two-way trading partner, with TIQ having its largest international presence in
Greater China.
Rhett’s appointment comes at a
critical time following the COVID-19 pandemic and the recent announcement that
China Southern and China Eastern will resume direct flights to Brisbane later
this year.
