Welcome to the October/November 2023 edition of the Funding Strategies newsletter!
|
It's almost a wrap for us for 2023, Funding Strategies' 11th year since incorporation. We have worked with some amazing clients and associates this year, and have provided you with some hopefully interesting newsletter and webinar content.
We'd love some feedback and suggestions before we start of the New Year 2024. Please complete our short, confidential survey via the link below.
Thanks in advance!

As we get closer to the end of the year, we thought we would
summarise some of the terms sheets we have received for debt funding or
financing for our clients over the last few months.
Business funding has
included facilities for working capital, invoice finance and senior debt for
our clients. Funding offers include $8.5m for invoice finance and senior
debt; circa $450k for working or operating capital (revenue based funding -
unsecured); US$10m senior debt asset backed facility and a $6.4m funding facility.
We work closely with our clients and the funders to appropriately structure
offers and move to completion. For larger deals this generally involves
finalising due diligence and for asset backed arrangements including finalising
valuations.
If you are looking for finance you can find more information
here:
Separately, we are generally seeing more companies with ATO
debt. We have solutions in this space for companies that have appropriate
assets and can demonstrate cash flow, so please reach out to discuss if this is
the case.

From all of us here in Brisbane, we wish you all the best for the upcoming festive season and we hope you have a refreshing break for a great start into 2024!

outsource2us - Your Plug-In
Marketing Team
We have been working with outsource2us for
over two years. Unlike a ‘normal’ digital marketing agency, outsource2us call
themselves a plug-in team. That’s because they do exactly that – they work with
you on-site or virtually to become part of your team. They’re not driven to
send you down a specific pathway. They take the time to really understand your
business and tailor a solution you can trust, with a solid strategy behind it.

Made in Queensland (MIQ) is a $101.5 million Queensland Government program helping small and medium sized manufacturers to increase international competitiveness, productivity and innovation, and to generate high-skilled jobs for the future. MIQ supports traditional manufacturers to adopt industry leading equipment, technologies, systems and processes.
Since 2017, MIQ has supported 136 advanced manufacturing projects across the state. It is expected to create and support more than 9,500 jobs over 5 years and generate more than $190 million in private sector investment.
Of the 136 projects funded through MIQ, 42% are being delivered in regional Queensland, creating more than 4,000 jobs over 5 years.
The MIQ program is part of the Queensland Advanced Manufacturing 10-Year Roadmap and Action Plan to support our manufacturers."

- 28 November: Insights from Qld's Trade & Investment Mission to China & End of year networking
"Over 100 industry representatives participated in Queensland’s
largest trade mission to China in November 2023, to showcase Queensland
exporters to China and the world. Delegates from the education and
training, food and agriculture and tourism sectors participated in a program
including in Shanghai and Beijing. Over 73 delegates represented 28
Queensland companies at the Queensland Pavilion at one of the world’s largest
trade shows – the China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai.
Products included premium beef, seafood, horticulture, wine and
beverages, processed food and health and wellness products.
The mission was held against the backdrop of continued
improvements in bilateral relations, and on the heels of the Australian Prime
Minister’s successful visit to China.
Join ACBC and TIQ as we
hear from several delegates regarding their China mission insights, and to
celebrate end of year networking."
